From Friesland to Mallorca

Originally from the Netherlands, I’ve been living and working on Mallorca since 2018.

After studying Leisure & Hospitality, I spent six years working in tourism on the island. From front-of-house roles to eventually being responsible for the marketing of multiple hotels, I learned hospitality from the inside out — not just how it looks, but how it feels.

That experience shaped the way I work today.
I understand how important atmosphere, service and consistency are, and how challenging it can be to translate that experience into digital channels like Instagram.

How it all started

Travel and storytelling have always been part of my life.
Long before social media became a business tool, I was already capturing moments, places and atmospheres through photos and videos.

When Instagram emerged, I naturally started helping friends and family improve their accounts — without realizing this would later become my profession.

After my second season on Mallorca, I travelled through Asia for several months. During that time, my desire to work remotely grew, alongside my studie in marketing and communication. I started combining strategy with visual storytelling; a combination that still defines my work today.

From marketing roles to SociaLisa

In 2022, I moved fully into marketing, working with companies in different industries while further developing my skills in content creation, strategy and social media management.

In January 2024, I founded SociaLisa.

Not as a classic agency but as a personal studio focused on quality, clarity and collaboration.

Today, I work mainly with:

  • boutique & lifestyle hotels

  • hospitality concepts

  • brands that value atmosphere, consistency and long-term growth
